![]() Once it starts printing, this excess material almost always causes problems, even when using a brim. Using the normal XYZWare software, very little leaks out during the heating cycle, but with Simplif圓D I get anywhere from 1-3 inches of dangling filament which sometimes curls up behind the nozzle where it is hard to reach in the last few seconds before the print starts. When heating up, a significant amount of filament leaks out of the nozzle when using Simplif圓D. ![]() I'd like to be able to use some of Simplif圓D's features to see if I can get better results.ġ. When I use the original XYZWare software it is the exact opposite: it works consistently, always laying down a clean first layer, but the overall quality of the result is mediocre. I've tried maybe 2 or 3 dozen prints, tweaking settings each time, following the instructions on their Print Quality Troubleshooting page, and I have only gotten 2 to work successfully - but the overall quality of those two prints was quite nice. I'm new to 3d printing, and I'm having difficulty getting it to work with Simplif圓D. ![]() Are any of you successfully using an unmodified Da Vinci Jr 1.0 with the Simplif圓D software, and if so have you shared your settings anywhere?
